Oppenheimer guida le nominations dei San Diego Film Critics Society Awards 2023

Annunciate le nominations ai San Diego Film Critics Society Awards (SDFCS), i premi riconosciuti da un’organizzazione composta dai critici cinematografici di San Diego (California).

Anche se il loro giudizio ha uno scarso peso sull’Award Season dato che su 16 edizioni (il premio è stato inaugurato nel 2006) il vincitore del San Diego Film Critics Society Award come Miglior film è stato confermato agli Oscar solo 4 volte(Non è un paese per vecchi, The Millionaire, The Artist, Argo), il loro punto di vista resta fondamentale per capire l’andamento dell’Award Season.

Per la categoria Miglior Attore si conferma la sfida tra 2 dei favoriti di quest’anno Cillian Murphy (Oppenheimer) e Paul Giamatti (The Holdovers) (il terzo è Bradley Cooper che però è stato snobbato), inseguiti dal plurinominato Jeffrey Wright (American Fiction) e da Colman Domingo (Rustin) (tutti e 4 candidati sia ai Golden Globe che ai Critics Choice Awards). Sorpresa per Zac Efron (The Iron Claw) alla sua seconda candidatura di stagione dopo quella ai Michigan Movie Critics Guild Awards.
